The slats are perfectly painted a matte black color and the surrounds are 100% real carbon fiber. These grilles are different from all others on the market. These grilles are made by true carbon fiber craftsmen and are made from only top quality materials using the best production methods. There is a very consistent weave on these parts combined with professional clearcoating, free of drips or blobs. Dont be fooled by cheaper China made imitations which may have inferior clipping mechanisms which do not attach the grille securely to your car. And remember, with carbon fiber, the quality you get is exactly what you pay for! This is a premium accessory for your premium automobile. Currently, these are available in black carbon fiber only. There are no plans to offer these in silver carbon fiber. In order to install our carbon fiber grilles you must remove your existing grilles, which is easily done in minutes with the provided instructions. If necessary, this item can be removed without damage to your vehicle. Please note that due to the curvature of the grille, it is very difficult to wrap these surrounds with carbon fiber. While there are not seams, tears, blotches, folds, bumps, gaps or twisting of the carbon material on these grilles (as we have seen with other carbon grilles), there is an unavoidable change in pattern density in the carbon in the corners of these grilles.
