These premium steering wheels from Autocarbon.de are individually modified versions of OEM steering wheels to ensure great fitment and have the best quality core. Each wheel is painstakingly made by hand with a total of over 16 hours work invested into the fabrication of each wheel.
You may find that the wheel you require is out of stock. This is common due to the amount of time it takes to make each wheel, we can only produce so many. We constantly have wheels in production with AutoCarbon. We request they prioritize production schedules based on orders that are waiting. So get your order in, as we only make wheels to stock when we don't have orders to fill, and thats a rarity!

Our wheels are sold using a core-exchange procedure. We ship your wheel along with A PREPAID RETURN SHIPPING LABEL (for US/Canadian customers). When you receive your order, save the box and return label and install your new wheel. Put your old wheel back in the box, affix the return label and call UPS for a pickup - you don't pay for any return shipping. Its so easy! -- and we will accept wheels with any condition of leather or stitch.
What Its Made From
AutoCarbon.de takes these OEM wheels, and strips them bare down to the metal core, and modifies them individually, by hand in several ways (where applicable):
- the bottom side of the wheel is flattened for a sporty look
- the core is wrapped in extra thick padding to greatly increase the girth of the wheel - this gives a way more aggressive feel - pictures cannot explain how much more substantial this wheel feels when compared to OEM - it is even thicker than the OEM M steering wheel!
- The wheel is wrapped in top quality perforated leather and alcantara
- True M Color stitching, in the signature M stitch pattern is painstakingly stitched by hand to the wheel fabric.
- Carbon fiber accents are added to the wheel, exactly following the contour of the wheel
- grips are added to key locations on the wheel on certain models

What's Inside The Box
Each order includes one steering wheel, core exchange instructions, and an AutoCarbon certificate of authenticity.
Our wheels do not include airbags, buttons, paddles, airbag brace or wiring. You will re-use these components from your original wheel during installation. Our steering wheels are available for a variety of vehicles. If your exact vehicle / transmission is not listed, please contact us as we may be able to produce a wheel especially for you.
Warranty + Satisfaction Guarantee
This product carries a one year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty does not cover wear and tear. Direct exchange will be provided within the first 30 days after shipping, after which, repair of your wheel will be facilitated by Bimmian with the manufacturer. A courtesy "loaner" wheel may be available during the time that your wheel is being repaired. Shipping charges to/from Bimmian for repair work must be covered by the customer.

*NOTE*: Although the condition of the wheel portion does not matter, the core itself must meet condition guidelines in order to be accepted as a returned core. Because each wheel is built on a previously owned core we ask that these condition guidelines be strictly observed by the returning party. Likewise, note that when purchasing an Autocarbon.de steering wheel it has been constructed around a previously owned core and will not necessarily be in brand new condition. We allow for average wear and tear, and because the steering wheel core is barely visible when installed, we do not consider normal wear and tear an asthetic disturbance to consumers.
Please consider that if our wheels were to be constructed from brand new OEM wheel cores their price would be considerably higher and this is why we use a core exchange program; to pass the savings onto the customer.
When you add the wheel to your cart, a deposit will also be added to cover the value of the wheel core. This deposit is 100% refundable provided that your original wheel is returned to us within 30 days using our UPS label or any other traceable method of your choosing.
Please note - we make every effort to keep these wheels in stock, but they do sell fast and given the significant amount of time it takes to modify these wheels, lead times for out of stock wheels can be up to two months, or possibly more if we need to source a core for your wheel. Additionally, we may be able to modify your wheel if you can take your vehicle off road for a while (ie. winter storage). Please contact customer service for details.
Please note that if your vehicle features a heated steering wheel, unless specified, this feature will no longer be available on your modified wheel.
Please note that, as with any material, alcantara is susceptible to wear, piling, soiling, etc. depending on factors such as cleanliness / oiliness of hands, grip style / positioning, and driving style, etc. Please understand that we cannot warranty these wheels from this type of regular wear and tear.
Please check your local laws for ensure legality when using this product on public roads and highways. In areas where this product is not legal for road use it is sold strictly for off-road, track or show use only.
