The E90/91/92/93 series splitters are made using dry carbon technology to closely hug the shape of the front bumper. Unfortunately, dry carbon technology comes with a higher price tag than tradtional hand-laid wet carbon due to the extra equipment and higher mould costs involved. When making a true form-fitting design, there is no other production method which gives the consistency, weave quality, and thinness of dry carbon technology.
