We use only the highest quality 20 mil Optically Clear Acrylic Film. Our film consists of two layers: 1) The outer layer is hard and is designed to combat debris. 2) The inner layer is a thick impact cushion designed to absorb the harmful impact pressure from the debris that would otherwise damage your lenses. Both layers are needed to effectively protect you lenses. Installing this kit will not damage your lenses in any way. No permanent modifications need to be made to your vehicle to properly install this product. NOTE: THIS PRODUCT SHIPS VIA GROUND REGARDLESS OF THE SHIPPING METHOD CHOSEN AT CHECKOUT. NOTE: The picture shown of the cracked M3 fog light and accompanying sales receipt are authentic. This lens was cracked by a stone on the highway. The lens was not equipped with Lens Protecting film. The replacement lens was $206.00 for one side. In comparison a fog light protection kit costs $20 USD for both lenses.
