- people who do not want to drill holes in their bumper to mount the OEM plate holder.

- any application where the license plate needs to be removed quickly and/or often (shows, track days, etc.)

- drivers who want increased airflow to radiator.

Mechunik's unique design includes two sizes of plate mounting screws that thread into the main tow hook bolt assembly piece.
Along with a handful of stainless steel washers, this design allows you to use the mount on any vehicle now and in the future by being universally adaptable to almost any BMW.

Manufactured from stainless steel, this is an all-weather solution that will last for the life of your vehicle.

Installation Notes

The LOCTITE tube provided is to secure the length screw to the main large screw.
We provide one quick use tube of Loctite. This is not to be used on the main screw that inserts into your bumper to allow you to remove your plate assemble more easily. If you wish to do a more permanent installation you can purchase additional Loctite and put it around this main screw, as we do not provide Loctite for both the main and length screws.
Do not use Loctite on the screw threading until you are sure of the correct screw length you will be using. Even though the Loctite is not permanent, it will make it easier for assembly if you do not have to remove the screw multiple times.
Dry fit all parts first to make sure you choose the correct screw length. Installation Difficulty: BASIC - Simple Tools, No Special Knowledge RequiredClick on the 'Installation Guides' tab above for installation resources.
